Why LMMSA?

Voices are Valued

Whether it’s a disagreement about a concert program, a location suggestion for a potential event, or a question about finding a new teacher, we will try to help as much as we can. We believe everyone needs to be heard to help everyone grow as a musician.

Flexible

We understand that schedules get hard to manage at times. Thus, your participation in our events are completely voluntary. Events are frequent and we try to ensure access to musical performances everywhere in Vancouver. It is up to the member to decide when and where to participate.

Easy to join

Anyone can join LMMSA! Non-musicians can volunteer without needing to play an instrument. Musicians can join through their school or independently. More information on our membership page.
